Exactly. They got an horrific pick six gift, a blocked punt deep into OU territory, and had a 13 yard FG drive after OU punted from deep into a stiff wind. Flipped the game momentum on a dime. That kind of low probability sequence isn’t likely to happen against Indiana.

Giving Alabama zero credit for anything is a great take, bro.

Did those things not happen? They put up 260 yards. 1.1 yards per carry. They got huge breaks. The pick six was clearly a miscommunication, receiver went long, QB threw it to the wide open corner in the flat.

2-12 on third down.

Cool man. I'm sure you were saying the same thing about the first 'Bama-OU matchup and that OU was gifted the game in similar fashion.

No, I didn’t watch that game, I’m talking about what happened tonight. This wasn’t some well played game. They got some extremely fortunate breaks.

You want me to give Alabama credit for oklahomas punter dropping the ball? I’ll pass. That’s a self inflicted wound, just like the pick six. Had very little to do with Alabama making a play and everything to do with Oklahoma handing them the ball.

That resulted in 3 points.

I get it man. Erasing a 17-0 deficit on the road in the playoffs against a very good defense coached by one of the best defensive minds in college football was super unimpressive to you. Maybe the playoff committee can have a special vote and keep 'Bama from advancing. They haven't heard your take on it, after all.

It was a good win, they capitalized on oklahomas mistakes in a game where they struggled to sustain drives, ran for 1.1 ypc, went 2-12 on 3rd down, and punted 7 times. That pick six was when OU was driving at midfield, a 7-14 point swing depending on what Oklahoma did with it.

The dropped ball that resulted in a blocked punt gave them 3. It was the entire difference in the game. Those things don’t happen, the momentum doesn’t shift like it did. I looked it up, that was apparently Alabamas only blocked punt of the year, and it happened only because the punter dropped the ball.

A teeny tiny part of me wants to see a Bama v UGA final just for the melt from the rest of the college football world. Mainly the melts coming from the Big10 fans and Danny Kanell.

This is weird to say because this never happens in the past, but Indiana is too physical for Alabama

I think people are sleeping on Texas Tech. They are healthy and they will be rested. The defense is very good with some big ole boys on the D line and Rodriguez is a menace at LB ...... he's everywhere and an incredibly smart player.

Don't sleep on them....at all

If you play a team enough eventually they are going to win one. Georgia is like 2-11 against Bama in last 15 years. It’s a wipe out.

Yeah, that’s the reason Bama got crushed by UGA.

Does that win somehow make up for the 10 other losses? Eventually Georgia is going to win a few if we keep playing them. That win doesn’t change the utter domination of Georgia for what seems like forever.

Not that big an upset.

Bama beat WIsconsin 38-14 at home and won in total yards 454-209.
Indiana beat Wisconsin 31-7 at home and won in total yards 388-168.

Not that dissimilar.

Indiana is legit.

All they have to do is play their game, not have bad luck befall, and they will win in whatever manner is necessary…

More money in bama playing in the semifinals.

TV contracts are already set. No matter who moves on, payout is the same. Not sure why this is so hard to understand.

The other poster said UGA whipped bamas arse a couple of weeks ago. All that word salad you just replied with has nothing to do with the fact that UGA just whipped bamas arse. We’re talking about the playoffs. Not what bama did in 2015.

Alabama won the game last night when they were 2 for 11 on 3rd down and Williams only had 1 catch for 2 yards.

Oklahoma lost that game a lot more than Bama won it
