I actually bought a Redskins T-shirt about 5 or 6 years ago because I thought this was going to happen then. I might wear it tomorrow.

Being terrible doesn’t help but the Zards are easily the 4th most cared about team in DC. It’s the capitals at the top right now (with a strong yearning for the redskins who will easily overtake #1 if they ever get good again) and then the nationals in second place with the redskins in third. It’s hard to really measure because the Redskins have been sooo bad.
It’s hard to tell if they’ll bounce back though because DC and the area is getting much much much more yuppie and progressive every year and that crowd seems to gravitate more towards soccer, basketball, and hockey than football. And more and more locals are being pushed out so those transplants will likely follow their own football team I’d think. Who knows. I went to a pretty progressive high school in nova and EVERYONE was a die hard skins fan.

it was a great day when a the violence in D.C., Baltimore etc. ended, blacks no longer had a reason to shoot one another

How long until Major League is banned? Amazon no longer will sell Redskin gear.

I've always thought the Redskins had one of the ugliest uniforms in the NFL. Not a fan of the color scheme
