So do I. I like all the Gibbs guys... if only they could get Harvick into a Gibbs car...

Put a 1000 foot BLM banner at every turn of every track!

As a form of reparations, give Bubba a 2 lap head start and make it a rule that no driver can get within 3 feet of him.

As a lifelong NASCAR fan, the only change I care about is FAR more diversity in venues.

Only a select few tracks should have multiple races. In a 36-race schedule, at least six should be road courses.

No reason why the Cup schedule should not include all of Rockingham, Nashville, Iowa, Gateway, Milwaukee, any litany of road courses, and a rotating couple of tracks on and off the schedule yearly.

1) get rid of the chase - it’s stupid to have playoffs when everyone competes against each other each week

2) get rid of stages

3) go back to single file restarts

4) no guaranteed starting positions

5) more short tracks and more Southeast tracks

6) allow more than 4 cars per team

Is the NASCAR thread not good enough for y’all? We work hard on that thread and y’all ignore it.

Jk. NASCAR’s big wigs simply don’t make sensible decisions that follow what fans desire.

#2 Make races unique, cut down on the cookie cutter speedways. Create 4 “majors” where the point values are doubled, I’d suggest those 4 being Daytona, one of the Bristol races, Watkins Glenn, and Brickyard.

Should at least also include Coke 600 and/or Talladega in the conversation of having "majors."

Buy North Wilksborough, fix it up, and give it a race.

Amen, it's a shame that Wilksboro is rotting away while there are too many mile an a half tracks that are basically the same track. Let's fix Rockingham up and give it a race too while we're at it.

Figure out a way to give the drivers some personality.

Drivers used to be charismatic. Now they're just boring marketing people. Really important since people follow drivers themselves and not teams.

1) do not disagree and I'd take it a step further. Caution laps DO NOT count in the last ten laps

2) Agree, we have too many 1.5 mile tracks that are fuel mileage borefests.

3) Hell to the yeah

4) The playoff format isn't bad and is an improvement over the old way where a champ just basically had to ride around in the last race and not get wrecked. JJ won 4 of his championships this way. In the new way, if you don't win in the early rounds of the playoffs you're out.

5) This started with the death of DE. Tony Stewart tried to carry the torch but every time he spoke his mind about how stupid something was they'd fine the shite out of him. Every time he'd call another driver out for something stupid, they'd fine the shite out of him for it.

There are hardly no "rivals" anymore.

Kyle Bush is without a doubt the most talented driver of his generation. Love him or hate him, the fricker can drive a race car.

I would also like to see them make changes to the cars themselves. Raise the front spoiler, lower the rear spoiler and make the drivers have to actually "drive" the damn cars. Hell, nowadays they look like a crab going down the track half sideways.

They should make it like WWE. Give everyone a character and a backstory. Teach them how to act. Stage fights and drama before the race. Shorten the race by 50%

That’s basically what Bubba is going for anyway

The NASCAR fans in this thread obsessing over Bubba are one of the many reasons NASCAR sucks. You jerkoffs aren't making the sport better by keeping that story going.
