President Trump should sign an executive order to rescind the red card. If FIFA refuses he should order drone strikes on FIFA HQ.

Have ICE make a trip to the Belgium hotel with fake deportation papers. If they don’t have enough to play, the US gets the win and the suspension doesn’t matter.

Unsubstantiated rumor that I heard is that the red card can’t be appealed, but the VAR protocol that was violated to reach the decision to give the red card may.

This should be the case.
They improperly used the system. That needs to be appealable.

I’ve heard the opposite. There is no protocol to in place to investigate the protocol violations of the VAR officials.

Nothing to be done about it. Soccer's rules aren't that many, but if you cross the line egregiously, the team should pay for it. I see the need for red cards, but it gets misused. Horrible call. It's like the death penalty.

It works well for offsides, which is a tough call to make on the field sometimes.
