I cant believe all the love for Hibbert. The guy is still an average player during the season and if not for this matchup against the heat, would still be a nobody.

People need to chill out. Let this series play out and all will be forgotten shortly.

The heat are playing the worst ball of their season and still can take this series with a good game on Monday.

Dwight Howard would be chosen over Hibbert 99/100 times and I think given the chance Indy would do the same

You do realize this is the MSB right? Stephen Curry is the 3rd best player in the league, Marc Gasol is better center than Dwight Howard and James Harden is a top 5 NBA player.

hes playing well against the 1 team who cant guard him. they had 6'8 udonis haslem guarding him. i think hes a nice player, but pedestrian for a max deal type guy.

Well Lopez is the best offensively skilled center in the game.

Noah was injured and to say he couldn't do shite is quite a stretch. Noah has made Roy Hibbert his bitch on may of occasions.

Here are the stats of top 3 centers in the east imo, I definitely wouldn't choose Hibbert from the 3.

He had plantar fascitis dating for the last 2 months of the season, including the playoffs.

Wait until next season. Playoffs are the real season, hibbert's young and added stuff to his daily routine last season. He's made his statements after what he did to Miami and NY. He is now the best in the east, it's the playoffs that matter. His defense also >>>

Well the Nets were ranked in the top 7 in defensive ppg, I assume you have something to back up that point outside of what you might have read on a message board. I do agree he is one of the worst rebounding centers though. Also with the lack of offensively skilled centers in the NBA today, I believe his offensive more than makes up for whatever he supposedly lacks on defense.

I will agree that he has gotten much better, I laughed when he received the contract that he got. Just watch Hibbert play when goes up against someone like Noah.

Yeah, and 28th in pace.

They're thoroughly mediocre in defensive efficiency as a team. Lopez is awful defensively.

Asik is a great rebounder but he's not as good defensively as Hibbert.

Offensively it's not even close

Hibbert shot 56% on layups and dunks during the regular season (he's at 80% in the playoffs). That's terrible. Even more terrible considering he is 7'2". Dude was considered one of the worst contracts in the NBA up until this series.

If Indiana gets past Miami (zero post presence) and have to play the Spurs, it will be funny when Tiago Splitter (yes, that Tiago Splitter) sends Hibbert back down to earth.

Anyone who watched any pacers games or had him on fantasy during the regular season will tell you how disappointing he has been. He has just as much potential as the best centers in the league but he doesn't show it 95% of the time.
