How much does it cost to be a title bowl sponsor?

I figure that it can’t be much, especially for the lesser bowls. I’ve noticed over the years many businesses that I’ve never even heard of being title bowl sponsors. Case in point, today we have the Transperfect Music City Bowl. I don’t even know what a Transperfect is.

For the smaller bowls, it's less than you would think. Like a few hundred K per year.

Here’s an article breaking it down

The Idaho Potato Commission doesn’t have the budget of a packaged goods company. The sponsorship costs $375,000 for this year and by year six, it goes up to $450,000. But that cost includes TV spots, which could potentially reach more than three million viewers. More of these viewers might be men, but with more women enrolled in college than men, Muir sees a growing interest in NCAA football among women.

Also I’ll add that this is kind of the entire point of sponsoring a bowl (and advertising in general) so that people learn who your company is

I don’t know if anyone has ever told you, but you can be pretty condescending.

I answered your question and then made a joke about the overall question, it’s not that serious

I’m not offended or anything, just pointing out something I’ve noticed.
To your point, most of these bowl sponsors that I’d never heard of before, I never heard of them again after the bowl.

We used to use them when I was still working at the advertising agency. They translate stuff.

I once bought extra RAM from Crucial.com (which I likely never would have heard of without the bowl sponsorship).
