How long will this loss linger for the Baylor program?

Most of the time, a loss is an insignificant loss and you just move on to next week

This one could haunt the program for a bit.

Love rhule, hate to see a loss like that

You sure love overreacting.
The key for them is to manage to somehow keep Rhule.

Over-reacting?

That was a devastating loss bro, there is no way to sugarcoat it.

Question is how quickly the team can put it behind them

Linger? They're way ahead of schedule. They should be thrilled.

This team has a 24 hour Rhule.

It's Baylor. You're acting like they're used to winning.

I sincerely don’t understand this take at all. They’re far ahead of schedule and they literally have a rematch with Oklahoma for the conference title if they take care of business. They didn’t even clearly lose a shot at the playoffs, though the odds got worse—but they weren’t even thinking about titles in August.
Blowing that lead sucks, but they were as close to playing with house money as it gets in college ball.

They could lose out, and on paper it’s still a successful year for the Bears.

Rhule will end up in the NFL in the next two years so I would say 1-2 years.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up in the nfl after this season. Not sure his stock will get much higher.

Would be nice if it pissed them off enough to crush the longhorns next week.

It's not out of character for them. Remember the Cotton Bowl where they blew a 21 point 4th quarter lead to Michigan State (41-20) and lost (42-41)?

I’ve been hearing the NFL mentions for a while now. He has mentioned NFL aspirations or what? I know he coached with the Giants for a year, but that’s it.

He talked to some NFL teams last year. Then he signed a long extension with Baylor this year. Most Baylor fans think (whatever that is worth) that the Penn state job is one that he would leave for.
