IMO, there aren’t any women’s sports outside the Olympics that are watchable, even more so sport’s than men also play.

I've posted that many times on the rant. They don't like it, but it's true.

I could get into college baseball if they didn't use those silly aluminum bats.

Lower the goal to 9ft so they can dunk on each other and we can get some cat fights.

Who was the girl that was appalled by this recommendation? I think it was tmac trying to bring up the conversation. Of course everyone went crazy with "girl power!!" but it's a legit conversation

Still brings in more revenue than baseball

Overall this probably true, but they’re expenses are much higher and they lose a lot more money than baseball programs do. Here’s LSU’s athletic breakdown for 2017-2018. Obviously with LSU being a huge baseball school the numbers would be different at most schools

I’m just impressed they scored 45 points in the first half. That’s a big time game score for some women’s teams and an impressive first half score for even college men

Jr High/Middle school, no. Although, some would be able to compete. I’d take pretty much any HS JV team against any women’s college team, though.

Didn’t one of Pat Sumit’s undefeated teams bring in the Tennessee boys state champ team and they had to stop the game because the girls were getting blanked?

I know this is a terrible take on here. But the WNBA isn't that bad to watch.

Women's college basketball however is a complete joke and is very hard to watch.

If you accept in your mind beforehand that it is a completely different sport than the NBA, it's doable.

1. Why would you have that mindset shift for the professional game but not the college game?

2. The biggest problem with women’s basketball is that it isn’t a different sport. It’s the exact same sport. Just with completely inferior players from an athletic and skill standpoint, in a sport where those traits are probably showcased more than any other.

Softball is a different sport than baseball. Women’s basketball needs to figure out how to become more like softball to have a chance at being worth watching.

Mulkey about to make Geno’s UCONN dynasty look like play school.

It must be an agenda to push equity

Does a women's college basketball game draw more TV viewers than a college hockey or college baseball game?

I would much rather watch women's college hockey over women's college basketball. Way more exciting.

Women's volleyball is legit for a couple of reasons

Lower the goal

Great idea. Just do a formula based on average player’s highest reach when jumping and lower the goal proportionately.

And shorten the court to adjust for their relative lack of speed and stride length.

I would just like to see what the numbers would be.

It's sure as hell popular in Louisville! Fun game today. UofL has beaten Notre Dame six straight games. Love it

You're right, it is true.

No surprise the fans of shitty football programs have to pump up college baseball.

Well yeah, LSU is only one of 4 SEC schools (and roughly 10 nationwide) that turns a profit in baseball.

Feel like I’ve heard college WBB operates deep in the red in terms of gross profit even though they typically use the same arena as the men due to huge coaching costs.

Unsure where baseball lands

Even women want to watch sports at the highest level.

Sister always watches Trailblazers and Red Sox, never once "had a favorite" WNBA team nor watched it. Women's soccer and WNBA gets the little girl growing up with dreams viewership but not really adult females.

Not any team though. Yall know there are some 1A and 2A schools all over the place with a bunch of uncoordinated kids who barely know the rules of the game.

Any HS state champion, yes. Any region champion, maybe. But any team period, nah.

We lost over $3.5 million the year we won the CWS. Only 4 SEC programs turn a profit (LSU, Ole Miss, Moo St, Arky).

Props to ND for ending up with 64 points after having only 4 through 15 minutes.

That’s because you average like 12.7 fans a game.
