Normal height people. Everyone was in the five foot ten range

That would be tall for women. If the women are in the 5'10" range, there could be your answer here.

If you're also talking about women in the family being 5'10" then there's tall genetics somewhere in there. But you should probably get a DNA test to be safe.

I feel like this whole thread was just an excuse for a "my kid scored 27 points" brag

I'm 6'4". I passed my dad when I was in the 8th grade. My son is 5'11. He wishes he were my height though.

Was worried about this myself as I’m 5 inches taller than my dad (we look alike in every way except height). My teenage son looks like he’s going to end at around 6’2 maybe 6’3.

I am 6'-5". I have a son who is just shy of his 8th birthday who just crossed the 5'-0" mark. Will be interesting to see how much more taller he ends up than me. He plays basketball but LOVES baseball.

Do you really want to talk about why he may be tall or do you want to talk about how your son is good at basketball? If it's the latter just lead with that.

You seem to know why.

He needs to get a blood test from his son to see if he is the biological father. That may solve the mystery of him being so tall.

If he gets into the league stop asking questions and thank your wife for picking a good side piece.

It’s not the league. It’s the association.
