How is Herbert considered a 1st round QB?

I get it, he's got a big arm, he can move a little bit, but I've never seen anything that makes me think he's a 1st round guy. He seem more like a raw 2nd rounder with potential.

I don’t think he is an elite QB. His deep ball is horrible and is easily frazzled. Low confidence too.

Has a hell of a stiff arm though

Maybe he would be a great TE with that last run

BIG arm, run so like that TD showcasing world class speed for a QB and the fact his skill player compliment has been mostly garbage his entire career.

Does he have an NFL drafted WR or RB in rounds 1-4? I can’t think of one.

From what I’ve heard is he likes football, doesn’t love it. Would you agree?

I’m not his biggest fan myself either. He throws a pretty ball too.

He needs to go somewhere he can sit with a good OC. He has the tools. I wouldn’t touch him in the top of the draft.

can't stand ppl on this site and how they can't recognize talent early enough and just downvote.

It’s cliched as hell but he just doesn’t seem like a leader or winner as a qb. Just a list of nice physical attributes. Compare that to his draft competition in Burrow who has a decent (and highly accurate) arm but seems like he has every intangible you’d ever want leading your franchise for 15 years.

I haven’t been able to follow as closely the last two years and don’t know. Bison duck might be able to give an answer to this but you’ve heard what I’ve heard.

Agreed, came here to same the same thing. Typical Oregon quarterback. Poor mans Mariotta, which isn’t saying much.

Has there been an Oregon qb that’s done anything in the nfl?

Mahomes was way more accurate especially on his deep throws at Texas Tech.
