I’m talking about guys that are head cases, and should be on medication. How do colleges keep these guys showing up to practice and not attacking people or losing their minds in the dorms

College coaches (at least used to) run their programs with an iron fist. Almost dictator like.

Player empowerment is really really new in college sports.

OBJ went to Newman and wasn’t nearly on the level of crazy that he’s shown in the NFL when he was at LSU.

Michael Thomas doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same headcase class as Antonio Brown.

Hell, OBJ probably doesn't either. He's in a class inbetween Brown and Thomas.

Are you a medical professional currently treating one of those guys?

But, I'll play...

All of those guys had zero issues while in college, so don't know what you're talking about.

As for their time in the NFL - AB was, I believe, thought of as a normal guy until Vontaze Burfict concussed the frick out of him on a hit, so chalking his antics up to CTE post trauma.

MT - Not sure I know what you're getting at here. Lazy isn't what I would consider a head case...

OBJ - I chalk his shite up to being a star in NYC and then feeling the need to keep that persona up. He may have some demons now, but never heard anything negative about OBJ while at LSU.

Thomas and OBJ made it through college without incident. Can't say the same for AB

AB wasn't anywhere near as big of headcase at CMU (he still was) until several years into his steelers days.

Ehhhh... Brown didn't have enough credits to get into FSU after committing there. Went to a prep school. SIgned with FIU, but got kicked out of school within a a couple weeks. Walked onto CMU and Butch Jones basically just did everything he could do keep him on the field until he left after three years for the draft. I wouldn't say Brown had no issues. If you've ever read up on his personal life it's fricked up. He was kicked out of the house and lived in a car and friends places at 16 when his mom remarried.

I get what you're saying...but grades, IMHO, do not equal head case.

So what if someone takes medication for mental health, you mention it like it’s still the 1950s.

It all started with that one handed catch then he landed on the Madden cover and it all went to his head after that.

Jets and Chase are handling their catapult to stardom much better.

To be fair, OBJ was doing the same. It really wasn't until his contract was coming up with NYG that things started to go sour.

Odell had like a 3 week span as a giant 6 years ago where he was "crazy" and it's somehow transformed into him "needing to be on medication"

Yeah, he's not some crazed psychopath I have tons of friends that graduated/went to school with Odell. He took a big group of his high school friends to Vegas a few months ago for their 10 year highschool reunion. If he was playing in Detroit, he wouldn't have been labeled as a head case.

Michael Thomas has been hurt for the better part of the last 2 years. There have been some issues with the front offiiice and him, but he's not what I would consider a "head case"

Antonio Brown, on the other hand, has (1) walked off the field because he wasn't getting the ball thrown his way (2) sexual assaulted multiple women in public (3) been named in multiple civil suits for sexual battery related issues (4) released sex tapes between him and women (5) barricaded himself inside his home, requiring a police response (6) all of the Arena league stuff (7) the raiders saga (8) had arrest warrants filed against him for refusal to pay child support.

Odell and Mike are not in the same stratosphere as AB lol

The airplane incident last year probably didn't help.
