They didn’t play that well in the tournament. Is few bounces go the other way and they would have been knocked out by UCF.

K is top three, no doubt. But in recent years he’s tried to chase titles by accumulating HS dream teams for a one year run. Hasn’t really worked the last 4 years. He’s now a glorified AAU coach.

Since you ask, pretend to really pay attention to the answer.
Every game is different.
Even players who will never go pro can shoot.
There is a huge variation in shooting percentage by non elite players.
So an ordinary guy can make 4 in a row from 3 pt line.
Its not weird or a religious miracle.
If the #2 and #3 guys have great days and your #1 is close to his usual, you win.
Michigan state hit from 3.
Their big had a great game.
He was not all star the next game.
But vs duke he carried the day.

One of Villanova championships featured a team that had lost 3 times to ewing and gtown.
In the finals two Villanova guys had career days.
They hardly missed. They won by a hair.
It happens in hoops.

There’s a long list of NBA scrubs who got drafted around #10 overall as well, and Reddish wasn’t even good at Duke. The NBA draft is a crapshoot.
