Notre Dame Football ~3.92M per game (ranking ~15th nationally) Regular season baseline average (though high-profile or playoff games scale significantly higher)

Hard to factor their importance in the high-profile games, but ND vs OSU for the national championship drew 21.5M while that last BAMA vs UGA NC drew 22.5M.

So, that poster’s assertion was incorrect.

It looks like I struck a nerve……

Now's not that time, man. You and every other Notre Dame fan just needs to take some time off and disappear until the Miami game and pray that Notre Dame wins that one.

After last year's bowl declination, all of the offseason talk, and a favorable schedule, Notre Dame has to beat Miami or it's going to be really rough. They'll got absolutely raked over the coals.

They'd finish 10-2, again, and be likely faced with another Pop Tarts Bowl invite, in which, I'd imagine they'd get a "good natured ribbing" (a.k.a. ruthlessly ragged on (and rightfully so)) by the media and Pop Tarts bowl officials.

That is what I think the data indicates. But TV and CFB executives may be stuck in the past.

Random question, why is Texas a blue blood? National titles in 63, 68, 70, and not again until 2005

The same can be said for ND’s blue blood claims. I think the answer is $$$. Just how much can perceived “tradition” be stretched?

They haven't beaten a ranked team in over 2 years.

This is objectively false.
