The home and aways have grown on me since they were first leaked. They’re an improvement over the old unis I think for sure. I like the battle red alternates but realize I am probably in the minority on here with that. Not a fan of the fourth uni at all

I wonder if these players feel as gay as they look when they’re doing these photo shoots

Like a cross between the worst era of Falcons unis and Texas Tech

In a perfect world H-town would’ve been able to do like Cleveland did with the Browns and struck a deal to hang on to the Oiler name and colors.
But didn’t work out that way unfortunately.
Texans didn’t necessarily have a bad look in and of itself but so many teams wear varying shades of dark blue and red (it seems), so nothing really defining or unique with their look whereas the Oilers had a pretty unique color and look with the Columbia blue.
Not sure any of these new looks today will have staying power but I don’t blame the Texans for trying to do something different for a change.

You must've missed when the NFL sued the University of Houston for wearing these:
The NFL didn't sue anyone. They sent a cease and desist letter to Houston alleging potential trademark infringement. The University didn't use any of the Oilers' registered trademarks. Just the color scheme. Whether the NFL's argument would have held up in court is questionable because a franchise can't necessary trademark a color scheme. It's not specific enough. Now, combine that exact color scheme with an exact uniform design and it gets a little more questionable. Ultimately, the question for a court/jury in such action would generally be would the public be susceptible to confusion that the U of Houston's uniforms were associated with the Titans' (old Oilers).
However, like I said, the more you change things the less likely the NFL could win such an action. The Titans/Oilers absolutely do not own the any trademarks for a red, white and NAVY blue color scheme. And it would very difficult for them to prove they have a trademark on a specific stripe pattern on a uniform
In other words the NFL couldn't do shite if the Texans used their Navy blue instead of the baby-blue.

Do they want to be the Falcons or the Titans?

Looks like the color rush uniforms are attempting to give a nod to Luv Ya Blue without pissing off the Adams family.
I get the feeling the original intention was to do more but maybe it got shot down?
I'm not a fan of either alternate but I think the home and away jerseys look good. Never disliked their originals as much as others seem to and these new ones are sharper. The pants look better.

They can also mix and match these, which could be fun.

Looks generic.
Need to switch the navy blue to powder blue. Then you're invoking the Oilers, but they can't say anything because they don't own colors. Especially if red is the primary color.

Just think, going from the Oilers and one of the best uniforms of all time to this mess. It’s a travesty.

the "Houston Blue" is purely incidental and the new logo is" gang wear"

So all they got was a third alternative red kit and helmet which they will wear once a season. Everything else basically stays the same.
Absolute garbage
Absolute garbage
