Pelicans fans know ou defense sucks..its why we point at coacing scheme And dont like our coach. We know terrible defense and the rockets have been that lately. Bringing up the pells like we are all retard optimist is about as wrong direction one can go

Yea so CLIPPERS made the Spurs d look worse than Pels D. It's a tip of the cap to the Clippers offense. 2 top 5 Defenses that the Clips are making look like bottom feeders on the defensive end.

Dwight/Harden have been good enough no one else is stepping up.
Where was Harden in Game 1?

What is this clutch city you are referring to?

20 pts 12 assists. That's 44+ points created. HOU scored 101 Harden had a hand in 44% of the teams points.

His +/- in that game was still -22. Explain that.

The rest of the team isn't carrying their weight.

+/- relies heavily on your teammates. The teammates sucked that game:
Jones 1-6
Smith 3-12
Brewer 3-12
Jones 1-6
Smith 3-12
Brewer 3-12

shite, a few teams have more titles within the past 20 years, the name is very outdated.

On the other hand, Chicago, Memphis, and Atlanta were all top 10 in opponents points per game so it would be very interesting to see LA go against any of them.. Rather than these lowly defenses that allowed 100.5 ppg.

How many? What 10% of the league? 15% if you're lucky?!?

LAC was #1 in offensive efficiency Fwiw, 3rd best offense of the last 5 years in the NBA.

that's like using Batting average as the best judge for a hitter in baseball. That stat is outdated we have much better ways to measure team offense today.
All I'm saying is that I'm excited for the chance to see LAC play a good defensive team like MEM, ATL, or CHI.

How was the Clippers' efficiency when CP was out this year, and how does that compare to this series?
Posted on 5/11/15 at 2:06 pm to TotesMcGotes
idk man thats asking too much for me to look up those numbers when i don't even care what they are.
Found this for last season.
The Clippers fared quite well without him during the five weeks he spent in recovery. They went 12-6 while scoring a blistering 112.3 points per 100 possessions—a mark that would rank as the league's best, by far, and that's propelled the Clips to No. 2 in offensive efficiency, per NBA.com.

they've already taken on a really good defensive team in the Spurs and averaged 103/game against them (spurs averaged 97/ppg given up).
obviously that number has ballooned quite significantly against the rockets, but again, rockets supposedly weren't very good on defense to begin with.
