The West was overrated this year imo due to all of the injuries.
Net rating:
Memphis this year is +3.2
03 Spurs +4.8
04 PIstons +6.3
05 Spurs +8.9
06 Mavs +6.2
07 Spurs +8.3
08 Celts +10.4
09 Lakers +7.9
10 Lakers +4.8
11 Mavs +5.3
12 Heat +9.8
13 Heat +7.1
14 Spurs +6.6
And on and on and on you'd be hard pressed to find any NBA champ with a lower than +3.2 IMO.

ESPN has them at 3.2 making them at best 50% worse net efficiency wise than any other champion that is easily accessible on ESPN site.
