I like em

Forever it was first team to score - yes even a FG won the game. Now they changed it to the best outcome imo. A TD wins but get a stop/force a FG and the offense has a chance.

NFL regular season should have same format with 15 minutes on the clock

I cannot justify a system where one team's offense doesn't even see the field, especially in the NFL, where playing defense will eventually result in a pass interference or roughing the passer penalty.

I would like it to go back to sudden death. Win in regulation. If you don’t either win the coin flip or play defense.

You didn’t watch an NFL overtime game this regular season.

Yeah, I hate NFL overtime. Either do like college or just play an extra quarter. Preferably the latter. But either would be better than the current—and certainly the previous—format.

Neither game today had this occur in OT

No, ten is fine.
Data showed that most of the games prior to this that reached the five minute mark ended in a draw anyway.

Just change the rules so each team gets at least one possession. If the team that receives the ball first doesn't score, then it becomes sudden death. If they score a FG on first possession, the second team must score a TD. If the first team scores a TD on first possession, the second team must score a TD and go for 2.

Could you imagine going to the 10th inning and losing in the top of the 10th because you gave up a run

I couldn't disagree more. That travesty occurs and people think that college OT is the one that needs reform? The best part of KC's team is their offensive playmakers who were never on the field in the deciding period.

Defense forces a turn over on downs while having the lead.

I like NFL overtime rules too. Either A) win the game in regulation, B) win the coin flip, or C) hold the other team to a field goal or less on the first possession. If you can't do one of those three things, you don't deserve to win. Games can't go on forever.

B) win the coin flip,

Surely you're just trolling.
How can winning a coin flip show you're the better team?

How about just have a defense that doesn't let the other team march right down and score.

Chiefs fans will cry about OT rules, but they gave up 500+ yards and have one of the worst defenses in the league.

It can't. So either win in regulation or hold the other team to a field goal or less on the first possession of OT.

Maybe if KC didn’t trade their best CB, they wouldn’t have all of their best players on one side of the ball?

Their LBs are awful in pass coverage and their CBs are bottom tier in the league.
