While I think it's funny the Hornets lost tonight it's not the end of the world. You people are something else. The Hornets have actually been playing well the last few weeks. You folks act like they should win every single game. Losing to the Hawks in their place isn't really that bad. They've only lost 7 games there all season.

No they shouldn't, they just lost to a team they were supposed to lose to. Atlanta is a matchup problem due to their athleticism and JJ. Smith made West his bitch tonight.

Most of the times, it is all about matchups in the NBA. The Hawks are not a good matchup for the Hornets as evident going 0-2 this year. Atlanta is young and very athletic. This is the same Atlanta team but just with more experience that took the NBA champions to 7 games last year in the first round.

i know it's not the end of the world.
this has got to be at least the 10th time this season they decided before they got to the arena they didn't want to win and weren't even going to give much of an effort to attempt to win.
i can take losing, i can't take losing and not caring about winning, not giving 100%

Its right there in the post. I just asked you if they can even beat the heat. That is what the "?" question mark at the end signifies.
I don't believe they can beat the Pistons, and I don't know if they can beat the Heat.

Good point about matchups, because Atlanta matches up really well with the Celtics, while the Celtics match up with pretty much everybody and the Hawks don't match up with a lot of teams. It is interesting how that works. Unfortunately for the Hornets, our team doesn't matchup well with the top elites.
