This is pretty interesting...
As a freshman, where he posted no stats and got no playing time, his team went undefeated. Then when he started playing, they went winless his sophomore year, then 3-9 his junior

Did they start playing real schools his Sophmore year? Not just other home schoolers.

So they are sending him to a real HS and are just trying to figure which one? That's got to be atough decision. How far is Clinton from any "big cotty" where he could play big time competition? Clinton must be 2a? at best. Sorry I misread the situation.
Doesn't he need to go to school where he resides, I mean for public school?

They are deciding if he should go to a real high school for his senior year or stay home schooled and play for the home school association team.
It seems that if he goes to school it will be at Central which is 5A, has a great coach, and is graduating their QB. Clinton is 2A. I'm not sure how the district lines or drawn or exactly where he lives (they just say Clinton which could mean different things).

actually the rules kinda allow it - leaving it up to the schools in their attendance zone.. most refues
I know one home schooled kid who tried to appeal to play soccer at our local high school and the principal refused.

Yea looking at the schedule the year they were 8-0 it was against teams that were in the Christian league. Not no competition at all. Not that the teams he lost to this year or last year were competition but they were a lot better than the 8-0 team played.
As for who asked about his location, he lives in Clinton, that is why Clinton was mentioned.
