Early rumors are Rico will end up at Cal and Felix either to an ACC or Big 12 school. Just rumors. I believe LSU has a shot though. I know LSU is working really hard on them two kids. As for others, not sure.
Yea Pop is a great kid with a great family. I think he has made a decision but I won't leak it until it is out to the public as to where. Where he goes though, he will be the starting PG.
I agree. And to the guy talking about Populist as a walk-on, he is transferring. There are about 3 or 4 schools he is considering. 2 i know are in Louisiana and 1 in Florida. I believe there may be a couple more involved but not sure.

I love O'Bryant so please don't take none of this the wrong way. As somebody that has seen him over 50 times this was my observation. He looked a tad slower and less explosive than usual. He seemed to have gained some weight since I last saw him in December. With that said, his shot selection was piss poor but it was an all-star game. He tends to settle for the jumper alot anyways, although his shots that he missed were quick and rushed. Johnny will really help LSU though, but IDK how much immediately. He is definitely not a 1 and done guy but will be a pro. He plays with a ton of energy every game out and he did last night. He should start from Day 1. He will do well at LSU, great kid with a great personality.

Has little to do with Galloway, and more so to do with people saying the kid can't play isn't better or as good as the LSU kids which is crazy.

Well I am personally shocked with how well Turner and Stringer have played so far and with the addition of O'Bryant next year that will give them 3 really good players with O'Bryant being a stud. Next year's team could be really good if LSU keeps Trent around. I have been talking with coach Scott lately and he is still recruiting 2011. So don't be surprised if they pull of a few late signees. Derenbecker will be good over time.

Yes I said that, but as the season kept on going these freshman didn't get better where as Markel, Lang and J-Jay did and proved with their numbers. Markel started for OK. State as well at times and is in the post-season. Just because I said that doesn't mean I said they were better than these other kids. This other group has proved it, what have LSU's kids done? Sure Turner was all-rookie team but other than that they all did little with a few good games. I stand by my words of them getting better over time but right now, they aren't better. That simple. With Johnny coming in and the iowa state kid next year plus this group returning, LSU should win some games, but they still need a lot better player at the PG spot. They need a dominant PG to get them over the hump. When they get it, they will be fine. If Trent gets the time he needs LSU will win. I was with Coach Scott Saturday at the Top 28 and I am sure he will get it done. He is one of the best recruiters in the country. Proven with the addition of O'Bryant. Also, Donny G is doing well recruiting too. Whoever Trent has them go get, they do. They just need to go get a dominant PG. It may come with Javan Felix, but who knows.

Langston Galloway? Give me a break.
Huh? Kid was all freshman team in the A-10! Averaged close to 13 ppg and almost 6 rebounds and about 3 or 4 assists. Kid is better than any LSU Freshman. And for you to say he isn't better than Ralston Turner, you must be drunk. Look at the Louisiana kids from 2010. J-Jay Thomas, better than Jalen Courtney and proved it at ULL, Chip Armelin, better than Derenbecker. Markel Brown better than Stringer, Galloway is alot better than Turner. These kids are tougher, better defenders, better athletes, better scorers and better all around players. Your recent rants on the kids from Louisiana and the stuff about Brian Williams are all terrible assessments. Williams redshirted so they can develop his perimeter game. He will get 25 minutes next year at Ok. State. He is better than Derenbecker as well. All these posts about comparisons you all have been doing are terrible. Sure, the A-10 isn't better than the SEC, but St. Joe's is better than LSU.

Bernard will be honored at the Top 28 either saturday or sunday. Also his Dad Victor King is an assistant at Castor HS in Class B now. Victor was a stud back in his day

yeah i gurantee you that malcom white would dominate in class 2A
Malcolm White was in 2A(St. Helena Central) and didn't dominate. Just saying, but I do agree that Bridge, isn't easily better than all the LSU players now, although I would say he could help them out right now.
Stan Mays is at Epsicopal-BR now. Sitting the year out

You still have me on facebook huh Bubba? Hit me up there if you want.
And yea he is Kansas good. He would be LSU top pg if he came. Kid is better than you all have seen. He takes over when he has too. Can do what he wants when he wants but he never has to do too much he is a high major PG.

Too early to tell with John but as a sophomore he was a good player. Athletic but not too skilled. Has a attitude problem. And yes Felix is big time but lacks the proper recognition nationally with scouting services. Saw him last summer dominate top 75 guard Tyler Lewis from NC in Vegas.
Great Louisiana food in BR

Where I can get some of the best Gumbo, etoufee, boudin and other good Louisiana food in Baton Rouge? I am here until Jan 2 and need some good spots before heading back to work in Northwest Texas

Derenbecker will be good over time. They need to go get them one or two JUCO kids that can flat play. If they do that then it will help ease along this 2010 signing class for another year and then in 2012-2013 could be a special year if they could land Gathers and Felix in that 2012 class. But rumor is Felix is leaning towards Wake Forest, Kansas and and Ga. Tech.

I have not posted in quite a while due to coaching JUCO basketball in Texas now, but I never thought I would have saw the day where Lester would say this. I think I just had a little heart attack when I read this. Not just Josh White, but Langston Galloway and several others as well.
