I miss Gundy. This format may have worked with him, but it definitely didn’t work with Jimbo and his crew.

I couldn't understand a single word that fast-talking mush-mouth was saying, so I turned it off.
The best way to watch it was to listen to the audio from the Georgia crew. Didn't have that pompous air that the Bama broadcast always has...didn't have to listen to the overrated Herbstreit...and the Georgia guys handled the euphoria of the occasion superbly.
But who ever thought Jimbo would make for great TV? Same guys who conceived the Longhorn Network? LOL.

I watched for probably 30 seconds and was bored out of my mind.
Went to ESPN U which was showing sky cam and both coaches cam along with sideline cam, it was entertaining

Not sure why they went away from the original format they had during the 2013 Auburn FSU Natty. Had multiple HCs from both the ACC and SEC, and a “moderator”.

This is the 1st year it's been truly bad. There was 1 year the guys in the room were all direct competitors for recruits & in conference - you could tell they didn't want to give anything away. Serious poker faces that night. But other than these 2 - I've really enjoyed the Coaches Room broadcasts.
ESPN already has a winning formula with Peyton + Eli. Those 2 alone would've carried a Megacast channel.
If they wanted "more", they could've easily added a P5 HC from each conference + a moderator to keep them on track.
Also, given the recent success of the NFL Nickelodeon Slime Game(s) - college football/ESPN needs to look into adding that to the megacast to generate the younger generation. Because tackle football participation & interest is sliding in the wrong direction.

I was just going to post about this - it was so bad - almost like watching a very bad movie like Rasing Cain - it was entertaining-
My daughter joked that they need the subtitles like when people were speaking Jive in Airplane it was so hard to understand Jimbo. The rest of the staff was all a version of the big guy in Fargo who refused to talk the entire car trip… I’d bet this is never happening again - need a room full of big personality coaches to make this work…
What a glorious train wreck that was - no wonder they need a $50M payroll to recruit kids there - Jimbo probably always has needed that haha

Why did they go away from the Coaches' Film Room with the four or five different coaches from various schools? I always liked that one.

I usually love those but as soon as I saw who the panel was going to be I decided not to record it. Was a hell of a game though.
