Considering it was correctly viewed by the refs and no flag was thrown, he probably didn't read the conversation correctly. The fact that cam can't read that with a ref isn't surprising and the fact that he went public with it....is idiotic.

I saw this as well. Definitely a look of disbelief.
Big surprise that people are condemning Cam for talking to the media about this. If this had been said to any other player or a Saints player they would be praising the guy.

I turned it on right before this play from the jax game, all I didn't see the hit out of bounds because I just turned it on and wasn't really interested

Also hochuli doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. He hangs out in Vegas in the offseason, he is a self promoting dick weasel and his 2008 was the worst performance by a referee in the history of sports. He personally impacted the result of 6 games that year with many terrible calls and no calls

The telecast didn't show the hit. The commentators said that cam did a little acting to try to get the call. If that was in fact how it went down then I don't see hochuli's comment as anything more than calling cam out on faking.

If Ed even said that, it was in jest. That is is not a serious response to a guy crying for a call.. He may even be joking about refs who have given that call to the senior qbs in the past.. Either way, sounds like he is joking. Cam seems incredibly sensitive.
Cam doesn't need to be complaining for calls. It just makes him look bad. Not that he cares about that.
I was proud of the game today fwiw and am not bitter at all the Panthers won. Very good game. Congrats to them.

He did act, the assertation fans draw is that refs throw flags when they know there's no foul...say for a Tom Brady, forehead, brees, rodgers, Palmer

What I took it as was hoc was saying cam wasn't old enough to be caught like that. Cam didn't get fouled, an older guy that couldn't get away may have been caught.
