Tyrus Thomas
....Plus Chris Paul could be a helluva combo.
I can see this. Thomas has the moves to be an alley-oop machine with CP3 like Chandler was.
The problem is that I don't see him hitting enough from the field to make up for the loss of West.

On NBA today Ryan Russillo said Tyrus Thomas and Jerome James for David West and Devin Brown.
If Bulls are involved we should try get Pargo back. Him & CP are bff or some shite.

Going shopping doesn't necessarily mean signing a max free agent.
if we don't have west, then it's not worth signing anybody b/c it won't matter
the hornets need to acquire a max-level superstar type, preferably a slashing 2/3 who can create his own shot
the hornets could have done that this past offseason, and passed
the hornets can do it next offseason ONE way (trading peja's expiring along with another expiring)
other than that? the hornets should just deal cp3 if they have any desire to win a title

Yeah a Tyrus/Okafor frontcourt could be nice defensively & for boards but we lose pick & pop option. Idk if Tyrus can hit the midrange J consisently but we have Songalia for that. Darius seem like he got about the same range as West.

tyrus/okafor would be so horrible offensively
it was bad enough with chandler/west

Tyrus would be a great bench player for us imo. He doesn't have enough offense to make up for the loss of West or to really even warrant a starting job.

I would have taken a new bee suit for Hugo in return for Hilton.

It'd have to be a player that is deemed overpaid, which we don't really need more of, or is a bad fit with his current team. Who are the possible players that fit that description?

Kevin Martin if they want to take a HUGE risk.

Even DTDevinBrown has an opinion on the matter

Hilton SHITSTRONG
“He gives us an athletic player who can play the four and five positions. We think he can come in and contribute and we’re looking forward to watching him play. He has amassed career averages of 3.6 points (.513 FGs, .605 FTs) and 2.7 rebounds per game through 209 contests."

why not DWest for TT, a pick and cash. Resign TT as RFA and get David Lee as a FA next yr? Gives you a shooter style pf and tt brings solid def
