His staffs in 2001 and 2005 when they went to the CWS had mainly his former players as assistants; they played for him elsewhere but played for him.

Who besides Sutter had played for him from those staffs?
I don't think having Sutter is an issue either, he's proven to be a good coach, but what has Gautreau done to have his job? And Cressend wasnt qualified to be a pitching coach either.
