Get off LeBrons dick though. Not safe for a grown man to ride so hard.

Would riding hard be a clutch moment or a clutch ride?

Depends. Is it automatic?

So the general consensus is that this 16 year old has no clue how dominant Jordan really was as he was never able to really experience it.

I'm not reading this whole thread, but is this guy really saying Jordan couldn't drive the lane any time he wanted?

Heat better find a way to prevent DWest from bending over Bosh or they may be in some trouble.

At the same point in career Jordan was unguardable. Nor did he have 1/3 of the supporting cast.

I would say LBJ is better shooter at this point than MJ, but its really close.

IMO, LBJ will not win 6 rings, and no team he plays on will ever win 72 regular season games.

He has more physical tools than MJ, but he doesnt have the hate fire to win. I suspect he'll get complacent after 3-4 rings

Yes.

quote:

When Jordan dunked on John Stockton in a game in Utah in 1987, Jazz owner Larry Miller shouted at Jordan “why don’t you pick on someone your own size?!”

In typical F-U Jordan fashion, he dunked on 7 footer Mel Turpin the next time down the floor.

Jordan glared back at Miller and said, “is he big enough?"

I'm 16 and I truly think Lebron is better.. At this point Jordan is but when Lebron is done he will e the GOAT

MJ never failed like LeBron did. It took a while for MJ to get over the hump, just like LeBron, but the way he lost was different. He also never lost once he got to the NBA finals, something LeBron has done twice now. MJ a perfect 6 for 6 and it would have been 8 in a row in he didn't retire in his prime to play baseball. MJ is the GOAT. We haven't yet seen anyone who will approach his level.

Let LeBron worry about catching Kobe on the all time greats list. It's insulting to MJ to even talk about LeBron being on his level.

Yes. He's a fricking idiot. He doesn't even remember Kobe in his prime.

Perhaps too much time has passed, but I have very few, if any memories of Jordan failing to do whatever he wanted on a court. I would love to see a comparisn of Jordan's numbers, regular season vs playoffs. I would be willing to bet his playoff numbers were better, despite the tougher competition.

Does anyone on this board think that if you replace LeBron with a prime Jordan on the 2011 Heat squad, that they still lose to the Dallas freaking Mavericks?

I can't picture Jordan losing a Finals, period. I don't care if a Jordan clone was on the other team. They would probably be in 257nd OT right about now.

So Lebron gets penalized for taking a team full of scrubs and a group of guys that weren't a "team" yet to the finals? Why Jordan didn't get the Bulls to the finals without Pippen? When will Jordan get on Horry level (7>6 right)? BTW, if you haven't realized it yet, rings are a stupid argument.

To say Lebron isn't close to Jordan is a retarded statement. Their stats are very similar and although I would give the nod to Jordan right now, Lebron is still in his prime. Will Lebron ever pass Jordan up? Only time will tell. Can he? absolutely.

MJ basically has 8 rings but he retired and that allowed Horry to get 2 more. No one ever talks about this but it's true.

Wrong. That's what they play for.

LeBron is a great player, easily the best in the game today, and if he retired tomorrow, I have no problem calling him a Top 10 all time player.

ETA: LeBron needs to reach Kobe and Magic's level before comparing him to the GOAT. It's disrespectful to their legacies to just pass them up and go straight to the MJ comparisons.

This is so annoying. You don't give him 2 rings when he didn't play.

Irrelevant. It is possible, but it didn't happen b/c he decided to stink it up on the baseball field.

Has 0 bearing on a player being better than another. Is Mike Miller better than Kevin Durant? Yea, thought so.

Every exceptional NBA player gets compared to Jordan, because he is the widely considered as the greatest to ever play the game.

Sorry. I am. Don't see MJ pulling a 2011 LeBron in either of those years.

I am also giving LeBron rings the next two years so it's not like I'm being partial to MJ here.
