i need to buy 4 together for the yanks/sox on july 27. i've only been to fenway once a very long time ago.
looking at seatgeek/etc i can see what its going to cost (lots). question is whats the best bang for the buck as far as sightlines, etc? its a 4PM game
is it the grandstand sections (1 to 33)?

I haven't been...but all I have heard is that since the park was built in a time when America wasn't full of fat-asses, the seats are all very close together with not much room.

It's not just the width, it's also the leg room.
Its non-existant.

Prob not gonna find an answer here from the Louisiana Sox fans. Prior to 04 they were Yanks fans.

Use code "nash" or "nasher" for $20 off on seatgeek

We sat in a bunch of different areas last year. My favorite was right down the 3B line, but not in the "Non-drinking" section.

I've sat on the monster, behind the dugout, and in the bleachers.
I'd say value wise it was bleachers but about 30 rows up behind the sox batting circle was pretty sweet, especially for homers over the monster, that's the best view.
On top of the Monster I got so drunk I don't remember anything other than you're completely blind to most of left field.
Also there are sight line issues with the structure so make sure you check.

thats what im trying to avoid.
are seats in the outfield grandstands better than the 1st or 3rd base infield grandstands due to the overhang and the columns?

use tickpick for tickets
seatgeek/stubhub charge fees. Fees are so 1999.

Alcohol is prohibited in Grandstand 32 for Red Sox games
Grandstand 32 and 33

If the four of you are chunky, get your seats in the outfield. No shade out there, but a little sweat is good for you.
I’ve been to Fenway three times, and it fricking sucks, and you’re making a giant mistake.

i just sat in my banks loge box seats Friday night. Loge box is great for 4 people because rows are only 4 seats deep.. not a lot of traffic coming and going.
also, the RF roof deck seats are good too. these typically come as a 4 person table and the view from t
up there is great.
the best place to pregame is called the Bullpen (formerly "Who's on 1st").. use to be a real dive but it has come a long way.. and has ticketed access right into the stadium.
another cool place to check out is Bleacher Bar. great view of CF. this place is accessible only outside the stadium.. doesnt require a ticket

Tickets are very haifh at Fenway and buying 4 together is going to make the cost even that much more. Try buying two and two that are close together and y’all can just alternate seats

I sat in the State Street Pavilion Club a few years ago and was happy with the decision. Not sure how much those are going for on Stubhub though.

I haven't been since the renovation.

Unfortunately Yankees Red Sox are always a tough ticket and that series with both teams looking like they will be in contention could get expensive.
If all else fails, SRO tickets might be a good deal price wise.
Seats throughout stadium not much comfort and beware the columns but it's the experience of Fenway trumps all of that, it's not and never will be a modern ballpark.
We sat in RF and those were still good seats.
Do the BP tour before game if you want to check out the views from the monster.
