The Big 10 and Pac 12 should not be allowed in the playoffs or national awards this season. They are only playing because the other conferences didn't follow their lead and now the have egg on their face.

The Heisman frontrunner has to be Lawrence. King, Trask, And Hubbard have an outside shot

You can whine about it as much as you want. Playing two more games won't get your shite conference into the playoff.

The Heisman isn’t won in September or October. It all depends on what happens in November. Now that the season goes into December, it’s like the season is just starting. LF7 was the winner at the end of October. He didn’t even make it to New York. The race for the Heisman is just starting.

It's Trevors to lose imo.

Agreed. At this point it's between fields, Lawrence and Mac IMO.

Would a Clemson loss here help Trevor in any way? "Look at how they played without him?!" type thing?

With Trevor sitting again against Notre Dame next week it certainly won't help his cause.

It levels the playing field for Fields and removes the "Lawrence played more games" argument.

Mac is clearly the favorite right now.

Trevor missing Notre Dame game hurts as it's 1 less game but also against maybe the best team they will play this year.

My sense is TL gets it as a “careerHeisman” even if Mac or Fields surpasses him in stats. After all, there may not have been a season if TL hadn’t led the player revolt against the progressives that run the NCAA.

Fields did the same thing and the SEC was playing no matter what.

Mac Jones deserves right now. Fields will win, Lawrence should win.

Lawrence will miss two games at least so there is no “should” in it. You either have the most outstanding year or you don’t and if you are out for 20% of your team’s games, then you weren’t the most outstanding player.

Fields is more dynamic than Lawrence but he has the exact same issue to me - it’s easy to look great when you walk off the bus with a team that gives you a 3-5 td advantage over your opponent just on raw talent alone.

For me, it’s clearly Mac, then Trask, and then the field. McCall from Coastal would be the favorite if he played in the 4th - a 13.5 td% is crazy. Wilson is lighting up high school teams. Hall from ISU is legit though.

trask would have to beat georgia and bama to have even the slightest chance. even then, he would also need fields to suck somehow.

mac, fields, or lawrence will win.

Mac has 5 star talent all around him. NFL lineman keeping him clean, NFL backs keeping Secondaries honest, and NFL receivers getting separation. I say Lawrence deserves more as a career achievement. I think he brings them back to the natty, but the votes will already be in and the 2 games missed will definitely hurt him. Fields will win based on the media bias. They are already pumping him.

Yeah and Lawrence is playing with a bunch of scrubs

You can say Mac has a better supporting cast but people are acting like Lawrence’s supporting cast is the equivalent of South Florida’s compared to Bama. There’s a gap but it isn’t that ginormous.

That’s dumb

Trask is tied for 4th in the nation in td passes at 18.

Number 1 has 21 and has thrown 122 more passes.

Number 2 has 20 and has thrown 80 more passes.

Number 3 has 19 and has thrown 54 more passes.

Trask is absolutely a Heisman contender right now.
