How will this impact the race with Trevor missing 1 or 2 games?

Odds(10/27):
1 Trevor
2 Mac
3 Fields
4 Trask

The talk about Justin Fields maybe moving up while he misses a game or so to me is just garbage. The big 10 only playing a few games should be looked at as a negative against them.

Mac isn't going to win it even if he keeps racking up the same stats the rest of the year.

Trask I think has an outside shot if he keeps racking up the stats, and gets a big win over UGA and BAMA in the SEC championship game. Lacking the hype going into the season could really hurt his chances.

It's Trevors to lose imo.

The Big Ten is scheduled to play 9 games each.

How many are the ACC and SEC playing?

Why? After losing Waddle if he doesn’t skip a beat I’d think he would have a great chance at it.

Yeah 8 game regular season then champ week with each side facing equal ranking opponent.

Acc is 11 +1 (1 out of conference team)
Sec is 10 +1

Mac Jones is on pace for the highest single season passer efficiency rating ever by a 10 point margin but this schmuck doesn’t believe he’s a Heisman candidate.

So 9 straight weeks vs 11 with bye weeks. Stop with this shite. It’s getting old and it seems like sour grapes.

Big 10 shouldn’t have been such pussies. As evidenced with the lates Wisconsin Nebraska debacle.

Two fewer games in one season doesn't even begin to make up for the bullshite the SEC pulls with their schedules every season.

Fields most definitely could be in consideration once he plays enough games.
To put him in the running now after only 60 minutes of action, considering others have played 5 or more games is nothing more than a media game.

Sort of agree with this. It feels like games are isolated exhibitions with half the teams playing or not playing and all the disparate schedules and shortened season...

The media will probably name a National Champion, not even sure if we're going to have a playoff but it should an asterik.

Teams cancelling games, trying to schedule new teams on the fly. Players having to sit out weeks. Every Conference seems to have a different protocol for the health of the players...it's basically rewarding whatever Conference just doesn't give a frick. Big10 sitting out players for more than two weeks. Trevor Lawrence now having to sit out.

It's basically, which team had no players "supposedly" not test positive is your National Champ.

They released the dates of the ny6 and national championship games yesterday. The big 10 and pac 12 really fricked themselves by not putting a buffer week in for rescheduling games do to covid cancellation and with there 14 day minimum sit out, they may miss two weeks. That would make them only play 6 games . Not enough imo .
