The gap is probably between Stroud and Hooker

Stroud is first in TDs and QBR (QBR he's a head by 13 points as of now). Stroud has as many TD passes as Hooker and Williams combined as of today. They are way more athletic and have 3 TDs each on the ground.

This can change very quickly with a few huge games one way or the other (good or bad), but he's -140 and the closest competitor is +1200

Never underestimate the media’s ability to get a Michigan player to NYC. See Aidan Hutchinson last year.

Man….

Am I the only one who doesn’t care about the heisman as much as they used to?

What about Chase Brown of Illinois? He currently has Illinois at 5-1. Statistically, he has 151 carries for 879 yards (5.8211 avg); 4 touchdowns.

ETA: I know he won't win it, but if he continues as such, he should be invited.

Bryce Young ain't winning it after sitting out an entire game against a conference opponent.

And not looking great in the Texas game that had millions of eyeballs to start the season.

He was running against the wind to begin with, the only way anyone will ever win 2 again is he would have to be far and away the only option like he was last year. Missing a game and change, Stoud and Hooker would have to get hurt while Young does on some other worldly run

Well that's just not true. He's no worse than 4th highest odds everywhere I've looked

I just don’t see a QB with passing yards totals under 3500 and rushing under 500 getting it if he doesn’t break or net 35 combined TDs. Last 7 QBs to win it have gone for at least 40+ combined TDs. Not a chance Hooker gets there unless he averages 3.8 the rest of the way.

I'm not sure he comes back next week.

AC joint sprains on your throwing shoulder are tough.

If DTR is in the mix, then you have to had Charbonnet. He has highlight plays every week, and both have carried UCLA at critical times. I don’t know how many people are watching UCLA games enough to appreciate both, but both are really good and deserve to be in the mix right now.

Bijan ain’t out of it either. Like the other second tier candidates that have been mentioned, his chances entirely depend on his performance down the stretch, and Texas needs to be in the mix for a conference title.

Hooker has UGA in regular season and potentially Bama in SECCG. He will have his chance for a Heisman moment.

Otherwise, Stroud is running away with it.

He's 11th in yards, 100th in TDs, and 10th in QBR. Not gonna cut it.

In which case he’s definitely out. I just don’t think anyone will ever win 2 again unless there’s no other viable options.

Hooker has Bama this Saturday... plus a chance for an SECCG rematch.
