Is auburn going to be willing to give up the level of control Rhule will want? I doubt it.

A fire Harsin never would have been able to put out nor did he want to. His effort on the recruiting trail speaks for itself.

Until a board for this comes alive, my speculation is James Franklin follows the Brian Kelly model and leaves his successful program for the SEC.

Book it!

Auburn has paid roughly $37 million in football head coach buyouts in the past 687 days. That's ~$54,900 per day.

Rhule is a sorry arse loser who screwed up everything he touched in Carolina. If I was Auburn I'd stay far away from that clown.

If I were Auburn I'd be calling in Coach Prime for an interview. He is under qualified for the Auburn job. But, what he has done with JSU is impressive and wonder given a better opportunity / better recruits what he could do.

He seems to have a great relationship with players and hires coordinators that cover his weaknesses.

And the simple fact he'd be entertaining .

That whole attempted coup on him while he was on vacation last spring was so weird.
