This is very similar to Saints fan base except for the field storming.

Except it's not. We are cautiously optimistic at the moment, and it should be understandable because of a few reasons:

1) Our division is horrendous. We might only need 3 or 4 more wins to take it.

2) The last 3 games are encouraging. They blew the game in Detroit, but Detroit is proven to be a solid team. It took a massive frick up to blow a game they were dominating, and unfortunately that happened. They blew GB out and then went on the road where no one expected them to win and destroyed Carolina. They are playing well.

3) Favorable schedule down the stretch. 3 straight home games with a chance to get them to 7-4. The only away game that I am truly wary of is @PItt. Chicago is on the brink of imploding and Tampa is awful.

It's not unrealistic given all of this that they get things rolling. There's a reason many people picked them to go to a Superbowl, and that's because this is one of the more talented rosters in the league; along with an elite quarterback and coach. No one thinks they are near the best right now, but we believe they can get a good streak going. Once they are in the playoffs, who know what could happen.

Won't happen. There's no team we want to come to the dome more. I pray they have to face us in New Orleans.

If the Saints play anywhere but Seattle in the NFC Divisional Round they have a good shot at winning that game.

In New Orleans? Are you stupid?

I'd guarantee the Saints by at least 10.

Seattle certainly looks SOOOOOO Dominant this year.

Do I need to bring out stats of what the Saints do to teams for primetime games, which this more than likely would be? Are y'all that fricking stupid?

Seattle is mediocre away from home. You could say that about the Saints too. but if we got them in the dome we would win 31-20

I'm laughing at you guaranteeing anything in the NFL.

No need to get your feathers ruffled, child.

I don't go to the Saints Talk board much. Are you what a typical poster sounds like?

Sure there are no guarantees, but I'd never bet against the Saints @ home, and that would be against any team. You're laughing as if what I'm saying is far-fetched, that the Seahawks would have a good chance of being blown out in the dome.

And I'm probably one of the more reasonable posters on this board and Saints Talk. I call things how I see it.

I literally just told you what I was laughing at. Are you getting me mixed up with someone else? Go back and read my posts.

Sheesh. That board must be a nightmare.

ETA: At least you dropped the insults. Good move.

Too bad this is not comparable to the Saints, who basically lost b/c of one Brees pick

Either that, or because Brees went 3-14 down the stretch with 10 consecutive incomplete passes.

The Lions are good, but don't act like they weren't outplayed. The Saints blew that game. On a neutral field right now I'd take the Saints.

If you want to continue to celebrate moral victories over an opponent who didn't have their best player, feel free.
