So you have Detroit going 3-5 (or worse) in the 2nd half?

Dud they couldn't beat Detroit when Calvin Johnson wasn't even playing to think that they would be able to win that game is a huge stretch.

Yeah the only reservation I have about the Lions is that I think Jim Caldwell sux. Still they're 6-2 with megatron coming back, having them not making the playoffs means predicting a pretty epic collapse.

It's true

I won't say they should be 7-1 -- they were lucky to be in the opener with the Falcons

But to say the Saints should be 6-2 now is not out of line

Week 10 vs Miami
Week 11 @ Arizona
Week 12 @ New England
Week 13 vs Chicago
Week 14 vs Tampa
Week 15 vs Vikings
Week 16 @ Chicago
Week 17 @ Green Bay

3-5 is not out of the realm of possibility.

Let's see your predictions.

Wasn't Reggie Bush also out due to injury?

Yea I saw the game, Calvin Johnson is the most dynamic offensive skill position player in the game, he changes the game like none other. Golden Tate had a field day when he was the Saints D #1 option imagine what he would do when Johnson was getting the attention that he commands.

Saints fans are something else, you win a home game in primetime then beat a team starting 4 undrafted offensive lineman and all of a sudden you're super bowl bound.

I guess with this line of thinking, Lions should be 7-1. They were beating Buffalo 14-0, before many defensive lapses and missing 3 FGs caused them to lose 17-14. But hey...the Lions were dominating the whole game! Let's just give them the win!

It's Saints AND LSU fans. Get on a small winning streak and then boom, they are the best teams in the world, despite the records and evidence on the field.

If they win all of the home games and lose all of the road games, they are 10-6. I'd like to think they can beat Chicago on the road, so that would be 11-5.

Didn't you just predict the Packers to get to the Superbowl? What are you going off of? Surely it's not their record and the evidence on the field.

Fascinating

Too bad this is not comparable to the Saints, who basically lost b/c of one Brees pick

We're talking about the Lions. With Matt Stafford at the helm. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost to the Dolphins, Cardinals, Patriots, went 1-1 with the Bears and lose to Packers in Week 17.

Because GB and the Pats have the best QBs in the world.

A lot of good it's done them this season, right? How in the world have they lost 3 games with the best QB on the planet?

Its called sarcasm. Lions deserved to lose vs. Buffalo, since they were terrible in crunch time. Same with Saints vs. Lions. And vs. Cleveland. And vs. Atlanta
