We need to get to the simple part, without emotion. Did it violate a rule or not?

The LHSAA has ruled that it was not a bona-fide move.

Vandebilt response tonight

I know that most don’t catch H TV, but the diocese of Houma Thibodaux looks to finally be talking.

Because the mom stayed in their original residence in Houma - hence dad getting apt not bona fide under lhsaa rules

Well then that is the bottom line, should be end of story, case closed. People just can’t go get an additional appartment and be eligible. End of story

So let me get this right: the kids dad is employed at hahnville and his brother is still attending school in Houma???? If the above is correct how can anybody disagree with the lhsaa

So do you know how much it costs to keep 2 kids in Catholic schools? I'm sure high school costs more than grade school and VC basically threw the kid out! Why disrupt the younger child's Catholic education if it's possible to drive the 30 miles to keep him in the same school!

Was their Houma house listed for sale? (edit for) or does that even matter?

But Coach Robison (and I use the term coach loosely) thinks the rules don't apply to him. This was never about a jersey. That was just another violation.

All he had to do was transfer to Terrebonne High and he would have been fine. Dad lost his job and the hardship forced him to go to public school...easy fix.....

supposedly they had a contract on it that fell through....should be pretty easy to prove

little Brother is enrolled at Private school in Houma. Why can't Drew be at a public school in Houma? Because Hahnville was recruiting him back in May before he even left VC. One thing I know about the dad, he will do and say anything to make his boy look good.

Maybe they didn’t want him in a weak academic setting...

You can if your name is Lindsey Scott and you go to Zachary.

Dad got an apartment in Zachary while mom stayed in Prairieville and the daughter went to Dutchtown

All the dad had to say was he and Mom were separated and Mom stayed in Houma with their younger son while the older son moved with him to where he got a new job.

Louisiana doesn’t recognize legal separations so they wouldn’t have even had to get anything through the courts saying this. Then after the school year and kid graduated dad could move back home.

Well, everybody has been bitching for new guy Bonine to enforce the rules. If he is enforcing a rule, saying such and such got away with it 5 years ago isn’t much of an argument.
