I only take issue with the douches who go all out like wear baseball pants and pretend this league is their chance to get back in the game and get drafted

agreed, only time i gave people a pass was playing at drillers when it was like concrete. but seriously, how could you not enjoy drinking beer and hanging with your buddies on the diamond?

Girls have come to the conclusion that slow pitch softball isn't competitive it all. So they've moved on. Anybody can hit a huge watermelon tossed underhanded.
Not knocking playing the sport, just make it more competitive. As I said, if 10 year girls feel as though slow pitch is too easy, grown men should too.

Slow pitch softball is badass. Although, they do need to move the fricking fences back. A can of corn goes out with the new bats and balls.

i would have to see it to believe it; the thing about it is that the distance from the rubber to the plate is real short compared to hardball. readings on cheap guns are very suspect. i seriously doubt anyone, even pros could make the turn and hit a ball coming at over 100mph from such a short distance. what is it 50 feet? or even less. now, i have heard some people that make "conversions" and quote numbers that convert the true pitch speed in softball to what it would be in hardball.
