No excuse to how poorly Durant is playing.
He's had multiple 30 point games this series. He is going up against the best defensive team in the NBA and getting absolutely hounded by the league's best defender for 30+ minutes a game.

Durant is ridiculously talented, but it is unfair how scrutinized LeBron is, while KD hardly ever gets criticized.

You're blending multiple Lebron eras.
Lebron vs the Mavs in the finals was passive and deferred. Yes. Early career Lebron, that you bring up(and basically every other version of Lebron), was not.
There's a difference between making smart basketball plays, and deferring. Standing in the corner watching your teammates work is deferring. Thats not what Lebron was criticized for early in his career. He was criticized for not jakcing up game winning attempts, even if he had defenders draped on him. And really he's still that same guy, just with championships. You don't shoot almost 60% taking bad shots. A wide open Ray Allen is a better late game option than Lebron with 3 guys in his face.

U make it sound like that ray Allen shot wasn't off of a long rebound after a missed shot
Like LeBron made a good pass to him
I'm not in any way dogging on LeBron, I simply said LeBron had a period where he was criticized for standing in the corner just like KD has done

Scoring 30 points isn't an achievement when you take thirty shots.
For the record, I really line Memphis and think they should have won this series already. They're D'ing up KD well. Happy?

I'll say this much, I didn't see a Ray Allen getting brought in to this bullshite

And you would have been wrong in one part and start talking about lebrons stats this year that have nothing to do with what I said

Yeah, against the Mavs in the finals.
Not the 1st round

Not hard to do when you shoot 25 plus shots each game.

Debatable. Memphis is great defensively, but pretty inept offensively. Thunder should not lose this series.

Yeah, Westbrook just went 30-13-10 and is the scapegoat for helping a team that was 20 down lose in OT by 1 fricking point
I agree, anyone that thinks this is Westbrook's fault doesn't have a clue.

Have you seen their offense? They have zero post presence and run absolutely nothing. Their offense is literally KD and Russ go jack up shots.

You are just being dense. I am done with your trolling. All you do is act like the past didn't happen because Lebron has 2 rings now and that is well known and wasn't what the discussion was about. Have good night.
Lulz. I'm acting like the past did happen because Lebron won 2 titles. He won them... in the past. WTF

If we're gonna compare the Heat and the Thunder, first off LeBron left Cleveland and made arrangements with D Wade and Bosh. Where as KD has stuck to his team for better or worse.
2nd Westbrook even at his best is no D Wade, at least when Wade is fully healthy.
3rd the Thunder have no player comparable to Bosh and that is really what they need so badly.
4th the Heat has the deepest bench in the league. Every player on the Heat can shoot the ball and pretty much everyone one of them from 3 point range.
5th the Thunder have had problems the last few years scoring points because Ibaka is very inconsistent offensively as is Perkins and that puts all the pressure on KD and Westbrook and I'm not sure they are totally getting along right now.
6th OKC's bench gives them some size but compared to quicker teams like the Heat, that doesn't help a lot especially when OKC needs to drive the basket. And other than Jackson just not much offense off the bench.

You fricking people .... This KD v. Lebron argument in this classic of a game thread is exactly why the national sports media is horrible.
If I was the man I was five years ago, I'd take a flamethrower to this place!!!

They don't even attempt to have an offensive flow. No screens, no nothing. It's painful to watch in the half court. Westbrook's triple double is misleading as well (well only the points)
