But the team around him without Westbrook is still a pretty solid team. Lebron took a team of scrubs to 60 wins.

There's not a single thing about the game on the ESPN home page right now.

Exactly. Durant told him to pass the other way to Ibaka late in the 4th even though Durant had one on one D against him. Real MVPs don't do that. They may take the rock and then pass off when the double comes at them, like MJ and Lebron would do, but they don't refuse the ball at the beginning of the set. Damn.

No, bad calls all the way around, but he was helping OKC late.

How in hell did you come to that conclusion? He ran out like an idiot and took the ball away from KD on the game tieing freethrow attempt and then didn't put all the time on for the out of bounds before the last play in OT. And towards the end of regulation fricked up the out of bounds call that he reviewed twice luckily for OKC, Memphis turned it right back over.

OKC played shitty enough to let it get to a 20 point lead but I didn't see Joey doing them any favors.

Brooks ain't going anywhere

Either Brooks or Westbrook will be shown the door. Brooks has been good at player development, but borderline awful with adjustments and simple X's and O's.

I don't understand all the Durant bashing. Westbrook is reckless as hell and streaky. Then Perkins isn't a great scorer, Jackson can get streaky but I just don't think Durant has enough help, especially on offense. The Thunder desperately need a guy like Chris Bosh.
You don't say? ANOTHER all star would help?

Dont turn this into one of those threads again

We will never know what KD would do with a team without Westbrook. All we know is what he did for the games he missed this year, which was very impressive

And no, I don't think KD is better than lebron

In the context of how many titles each has, do tell.

Yeah, getting rid of Brooks would be retarded, but he is welcome to come to New Orleans

Not enough help?! Lebron would shite his pants if he was in Durant's shoes. He'd have that team running on all cylinders. They'd be so disciplined. Lebron is the most physically gifted player in the league AND a coach on the court.

That was probably off Memphis but there wasn't enough evidence.

Just like a possession or so later it was probably off okc but they kept possession.

I'm hoping Westbrook lands with the Lakers, but he's not the problem. Durant doesn't have the stones to demand the ball and put Westbrook in his place. For as much as I hate Westbrook, he's got all the intangibles you want in a franchise player. Durant is a better player, but he's mentally and physically soft at the end of the day when there's a lot on the line.
