Livan Hernandez was the beneficiary of the wide strike zone in 1997, except it was closer to 6 feet

This. Not only has the zone seemed to really shrink every post-season game this year.

But back when the Braves were rolling with their pitchers the catcher could set up 2 feet off the plate and as long as Greg hit the target - it was called a strike. Bats couldn't even reach the pitch they were so off the plate...but hey, as long as they were the perfect height and the catcher framed the pitch.
