2007 Westlake Rams
14-1 Had 7 shut outs and another 4 games where they only allowed 6/7 points. Only allowed 81 points in 15 games(5.4 per game) and 24 of those came against Terrence Broadways Capitol team. Held Kenny Hillards Patterson team to 7 points in the Semis. Had the 3A offensive MVP in Vinny Collins 2297 and 33 touchdowns on the year.Lost there slot reciever and kicker in the semis or they no doubt would have blown out Parkview in the championship.

Give me Newman with Peyton though.
I don't think they even won the AA state championship
we didnt, Newman has never won a state championship in football. and Newman has had better teams than the ones the Mannings were on

How did they assemble teams like that?
Didn't they have three semesters of eight grade so their players were a year older?

1985 John Curtis Patriots
Their 3rd straight State Championship, and third straight undefeated season and 1985 was their peak team during that specific run. Dad was a senior on the team, have seen highlights, man they could run and throw back then, and the defense had some sick LBers like Stonebreaker.

The 2003 Hahnville team that beat Evangel for the title was pretty damned strong but not like those two.
That 2003 team was a great one. Most people remember this team over the other great Hahnville championship teams because of how stacked that offense was. But the 1992 4-A state championship team was a defensive powerhouse. They didn't give up a point until week 8 (I think) against HL Bourgeois after Darren Barbier put in the 3rd team defense. At that point, I think Barbier just wanted to get rid of all of the talk of "can they shut out a whole season." They gave up 13 points total in the first 4 playoff games (all to OP Walker in the quarterfinals) and went on to beat Broadmoor in the Dome 37-22.

No team in history could have beat the 90 Ruston team
We tried in '89, twice. Once in District and then in Play-offs. That '89 Ruston team was stacked as well.

I was a sophomore on that team. I think the field tilted when they came out on the field. I think we were only the 2nd team that year to score 1st on them. That team was ridiculously good & we were by no means a scrub team.

I agree, 92 Hahnville > 03 Hahnville

2012 Rummel team wasn't too bad..
14-0 Outscored opponents 523-146 Undefeated State Champions
May be the last Louisiana team to win the real 5A state championship...

Yea I was the starting QB of that 90 Ruston team.. boy those were the days. We were lightning in a bottle every week.

The late 90's Evangel teams were ridiculously stacked with talent. Highly advanced QB's and monsters like Stevie Lee on the lines just crushing 1A teams. Completely dominant.

The 97-98 West Monroe team was a beast.
