Basically all the best athletes are from the NBA. They are by far the best combo of bigger, faster, stronger, and agile of athletic groups.
basically all the best athletes are elite boxers. they'd beat the others up

I always thought it was cool that during their dominant run they had one superstar who used 2 names- Roberto Carlos. Then I was really confused when someone told me that wasn't his full name and he just had 2 first names.

Mediterranean
Cristiano Ronaldo if we are counting Portugal, but I think its southern border touches a different sea. And Ronaldo is from way farther out, anyways.
Nadal, Xavi, Paola Maldini, Giannis, the Algerian and Moroccan runners of the 90s, Zinedine Zidane if the south of France counts.

Zinedine Zidane

NBA is most likely bigger, faster, stronger, more agile then about every other group of athletes.
If the NFL and NBA both had track teams, who would win? The NFL in a rout.
If the NFL and NBA both had powerlifting teams, who would win? The NFL in a rout.
The only advantage the NBA has is height and that the skill sets are more homogeneous and that may lead to athletes who are more balanced as a group.
If we’re just talking individual freaks, though, give me the NFL. The top NFL guys would make better decathletes.

For soccer, you can add Didier Drogba and maybe Samuel Eto’o.
Mo Salah could retire tomorrow and be better than Drogba
