Bush was great for 3 years...what was Cam doing, playing in Jr. or D II college? Everyone overreacts to what is the last thing they saw. I can't tell how many games Bush saved the day for USC - he was the most talented guy on the field in every game he played. Made me people look silly; he was the X button on the playstation. This is really short-memory syndrome.

no player ever won a football game by himself. ever.

Vince was the closest to doing that

Tebow is given credit for winning 2 national championships. he was a backup his freshman year, playing a trent richardson like role
They would not have won the 1st one without him IMO.

IF bama wins a title this year, will pople say richardson won 2 national title?
Of course. Why wouldn't they???

Yeah and yet two quartebacks from the same decade were ranked higher than him in the all-time college football quarterbacks.

No, it's close. I'd have:
Tebow/Vince
Cam
Leinart
Bush
the rest

Vince Young and Tim Tebow. Bush was a freaking monster at USC though.

I think the majority will think Vince Young is definitely the best non-heisman winner over the past decade.

Whitehad a great career, no doubt. It's the whole season v. career debate, though. But White played in a great system and had a lot of weapons. Cam played in a good system with no weapons but himself. He was clearly more impressive. But did it for 2 less seasons.

yeah, with no help from UT's defense in that game especially on that critical 4th down.

Not when it came to CRUNCH TIME. He failed miserably.
