Shot 77 at Beaver Creek on Saturday AM. Hazard penalty on #4 (ball in woods). Two balls O.B. on #9. Two balls in the water on #11. Almost holed out on #18 for eagle from a fairway bunker.

Other than that the 7 penalty strokes it was a good round.

Damn we have some PGA players up in here!

91 at Dumas

Hit the stick on #8 and it stayed right on lip of cup (would have been a double eagle)

Yes....highlight of my day

Played in the BASF tourney...couldn't hit intermediate length wedge shots to save my life. My irons weren't very good either.

Yeah, but I was hitting my driver the best I have in my life. Probably had 2 drives run close to 280-290 (non GPS), 250 consistently. Only hit my old driver 220ish. On #10 (long par 4) I would normally go driver, 6 iron to the green. Today I went driver, 52 degree. Short game sucked.

-10 yesterday to lead the first flight
-6 to finish second. We couldn't do anything right today, but finished birdie par eagle.

Played a few scrambles. Having trouble with driver. Playing a cut with no distance. Amazing what video does for you. Notice today I was staying on my left foot. Draw a line from my head down and I was actually loaded forward and my head would cross the line on my backswing. Had a hip kick instead of a good turn. Spent some time at the range today to work it out. Feel better now. I need to start working core and legs more but it's hard. Might take a few days off and hit the weights more this week.

Ha! Yeah I was in a Bama hat.

Regarding Moody: I have played once and I came away thinking that they keep the place in incredible conditions. Very challenging. A lot of water, but it does not come into play very often.

Round of golf on the weekend is about $65, that includes cart. Not bad IMO.

The best part is the fact that Galveston is always 10 degrees cooler in the summer, with a steady breeze.

Yeah, I play a cut and have some issues sometimes. I can stretch it out to 275, maybe 285 when I crush it, but I have a slice that comes to visit every now and then. It was well alive today... The guy I was playing with is a 2.4 hc and knows a good bit about how to fix some problems. He hits about a 300-320 yard draw. Every time I would hit one good, I would be a little proud of myself, then he'd step up and shite all over me. Pretty awesome. He claims I can do the same with minor changes. That would be freaking legit.

Out of curiosity, when y'all play in scramble, fourballs, etc., when you go to sign the scorecard of the people you're playing with, do you take 5 minutes to look over their scorecard?

Here's a background of what happened to us. We're tied for the first flight lead and playing with a father and two sons. They have a reputation of being douche bags, the dad allegedly hit his wife in the stomach while she was preggers, and a guy told us we should watch them when he found out who we were playing with. So we kept our score and their's, not really to make sure they weren't cheating. We knew what each other shot after every hole. We just wanted to keep up with where we were in relation to them since we were tied for the lead. They're up 3 on us headed to our last 3 holes. They go par par par, and pretty much choked on the last hole, and we went birdie par eagle. So they were probably pretty pissed for choking, but overall they weren't bad to play with. We get in the carts and I say, do y'all want to sign each others scorecards, and the dad says yeah better do it for etiquette purposes. I glance over their's in like 30 seconds, and sign it because I already knew what they had done, then the guy proceeds to stare at ours for like 5 minutes, discussed with his son, and finally signed it. It was really weird.

Then our team, them, and another team ended up in a 3 way tie for second so they had a drawing then went to the scorecard on the hole they drew. Us and the third team wanted to playoff. These guy's said they didn't care, and left before they even had the drawing. Then we got second after the drawing and the dbags got third and weren't even there to collect their money. What's up with some of these people?

eta: tl;dr

I shot a 93 there a couple weeks ago...at most other courses, I am 83-88. On the front, I shot 44, but the back always kills me. Did not lose a ball on the front...3 lost on the back.
