Regripped my clubs with no prior experience about a month ago. Very easy if you have a vise. Bought everything else off Amazon.

Gave me something to do on a rainy day.

is it difficult to add a cord? I've been looking at Winn grips. I want something a little tacky, but read they wear out pretty fast. Haven't looked into pricing either

Cords are the way to go. They beat gloves up, but the grip is unmatched.
They last longer too.
Install the same as a rubber grip.

Grips come corded. Golf Pride New Decade Multicompound are popular and can usually be found for a reasonable price.

Some people will get multiple wraps of tape under a grip to increase its size. I went standard. Short stubby fingers.
