The SEC is horrible just like everyone outside of the south already believed

I think it was just way more topheavy than any SEC fan wanted to admit.

Georgia is legit and can win it all.
Alabama, Aggie, and Ole Miss are pretty meh.
The rest of the conference is absolute dog piss. Tennessee was ranked basically all season without a single victory over a FBS team with a winning record.

OSU is the only big ten team that could survive the SEC gauntlet.. that’s a simple fact.

Iowa just handled a team that survived the "SEC Gauntlet". I would say over the last 2 years it has become obvious that the BIG 10 and SEC were becoming Equal and then the BIG 10 passed the SEC up this year. Hasn't the BIG10 won the last 2 titles and dont they have the top 2 seeds this year? Am I crazy or are SEC fans just ignoring this shite.

It's been over 1000 days since an SEC team won the National Championship

Indiana and OSU would have at least 2 losses if they played a regular SEC schedule. Oregon would have at least 4.

Love how bowl games mean nothing now
If you truly believe these games are an accurate reflection of how good these teams are then idk what to tell you. But something tells me you don't actually believe that.

there was 15 threads here and on the SEC rant when UGA beat FSU in a bowl game where FSU had 17 starters out saying it proved the committee was right putting Bama in
Well that's the SEC rant which can't be taken seriously. I never agreed with leaving FSU out that year.
The SEC is nothing like it was 10 years ago. The transfer portal has stripped the teams of the depth advantage they used to have over the rest of the country. The best teams in cfb today are now equivalent to the Notre Dames and Ohio States that used to get rolled by the SEC in January. But i dont need these bowl games to tell me that.
The only reason people say the SEC is still the toughest conference is because most of the good teams actually play each other, whereas in the big 10 many of them avoid each other due to schedule dilution

I’m going to assume OSU being ELITE was factoring into your take here
