Newton struggles to throw for more than 4000 passing yards in pass friendly league. (Did it his rookie year).
Newton struggles with his accuracy.
Newton struggles making throws outside the numbers.
Newton struggles to keep the ball from the defense.
His QB rating has been above 90 ONCE in his entire career.
Newton has had an 8 game stretch of his career where he was elite. Cool.
But he gets goal line TDs so he’s elite I guess.

Without looking it up Cam is likely top 5 in ints since he joined the league.

9 pages in and no one has the guy that was about to win MVP of the league last year if he didn’t get hurt with 3 to play?
But you have Prescott at #3. shite I’d take kid from Houston over him.
ETA- the comebacks will be well Wentz was/is hurt, but some of you have Luck listed and he hasn’t played in over a year.

There are only 3 elite QBs in the NFL. Cam is not one of them, clearly. He is top 10 though.

Because I made a thread years back saying his overrated? I was clearly proven right. He had an amazing run that season, rightfully won MVP. What else has he done, though?

Saying he’s top 10 active QBs doesn’t mean he’s “elite”. Nobody is saying that.
You’re a GM right now...which 10 QBs are you rolling with before you put Cam under center? And as a bonus step, show us how your #10 is materially better than Cam.
EDIT: I don’t like the guy either but I can still respect his production.

Ben is too high if you're talking about the best right now. He's mediocre on the road and has a tendency to play down to the level of bad opponents.
Luck shouldn't be on the list - we don't know if he can play at all.
