Yes

And once that state legalizes sports gambling, your show will be sponsored by DraftKings or FanDuel

the media is too liberal to shine a light on the hypocrisy of lebron and the china basketball association

Yes, there is a reason most shows that discuss a game will show the lines on the game as well even if they are not discussing sports betting.

All you need to know about gambling or fantasy radio shows is that no one talking on that show would be doing so if they knew the answer to winning at gambling and fantasy

So essentially its a complete waste of air even when they are talking.

some of the local shows just do a poor job of it, no one wants to hear random people calling with their picks or asking about their specific fantasy teams

in depth discussion about FFB or gambling can be interesting, but surface level shite like above is incredibly dull.

The guy moscona has on where he just asks random who should I start questions is horrible....and the guy doesn't even sound like he actually knows what the frick he's talking about either.

Other people's bets and fantasy teams are like describing dreams, no one really gives shite.

There might be a small market for handicapping games, but even then you would need to make it entertaining and you would need to win.

Obviously winning helps, but there are plenty of people who listen to gambling talk shows or podcasts of guys who arent great handicappers.
To answer the OP, yeah, there is a big market for it. Granted im more likely to listen to actual sharp bettors podcast like BTB or an action network podcast than listening to Ott or hester discuss it.
Also, hearing an angle i havent thought of is what i get out of it. Hearing random sports show guest or host just give a pick without backup is lame as Bilj kind of alluded to. That mascona segment is the worst

Is it any less tedious than their 1000th segment about who the best defense in the league is or whether a hot dog is a sandwich?

And its way better than listening to t-bobs tier list of star wars movies and cereals with his fantastical friends

Sports gambling is a massive industry that’s only scratched the surface as it gets legalized across the country.

Worst for sports, on radio, was rivals radio on Sirius

Dickjaws from LSU, Bama, and Auburn would ask the same fricking question, 30 times straight. Can you tell me about our recruiting class. After the last 3 callers all from Alabama asked the same fricking thing. I relize many were truckers, and not the sharpest, but even the hosts got tired of talking about the same thing, 60 times in their 2 hour time bracket

Gambling shows are great when they claim to have a fixer on the show, and he tells stories about inside info he got, yet he still has an outfit from 1980's, and his shoes are really bad keds knock offs.

I’ll fess up. I listen to the Fantasy Focus podcast every day and have for many years. It’s not that I glean a lot of information, it’s just an entertaining way to fill time on my commute home.

I was actually in the Mans League a few years ago, which was fun. Unfortunately came in 2nd.

It’s one of those things that the broader you go, the more you actually lose. Someone that’s hardcore into fantasy/gambling tune out because it’s “yeah no shite” info to them and then it’s sure as shite not appealing to someone who isn’t into it.

You either fully dive into it or just ignore it

VSIN App. "My Guys in the Desert" with Brent Musburger is a fantastic sports gambling show. Maybe it's just the nostalgia of listening to Brent but it's very entertaining.

I used to play fantasy football with some coworkers workers, and it was fun. That said, one of the most boring conversations is discussing ones fantasy football team, and sports radio talk about it is horrible.

It’s fantasy. Not real game shite. Just as soon talk about comic fantasies of Batman or Superman as well.

Actually some of the in depth podcasts are some of the better football talk you’ll get, the ones that do deep dives not the “who should I start? “ type shite
