For being the supposed "intelligent offensive mind", it's inexcusable to run a fade on the goaline after a TO

Anyone else think the Auburn guy had good coverage on that last PI?

Always hated the end zone fade. Small area to work with for the WR. Pass takes forever to get there. Timing has to be right for it to have a chance.

He had MINOR arm contact and very little other contact

That should not be DPI in college. It would be in the NFL though

You also can't throw it out of the end zone like Nix did

DPI wasn't even possible on that play

it works in HS when you have a good tall WR, but after that, DBs can jump with anybody

Nix is horrendous throwing downfield and down the sidelines. Every pass seems like he's just putting it up in hope.

run a fade

Why do they think this play is an auto catch? It might be one of the worst calls inside the 10, especially if the defense is playing off you. But run that f'in fade(as it fails on 4rd and 4th for 1000000 time)

Why does it feel like I’ve seen Auburn lose on a bad fade thrown from bo nix like 45 times?

not defending the play call but Harsin said there were 5 options for that play. So Bo is the one who let it rip for what was probably the riskiest of all the options.

Such a low percentage play. Really sad.

Wasn’t that long ago that people used to argue with me on here that actually the fade is a really good route as long as the WR is tall it’s the worst offensive playcall in football.

Auburn fans contend he was their first choice. Napier was never a real candidate.
