No I'm not kidding. We were down 2-0 and fought back to take a 3-2 lead . Then with under 2 minutes left Eller the idiot high sticked a guy. 6 on 4 power play and you know the rest. DD and max scored in shootout but tokes was horrible. No reason we couldn't
have gotten 4 out of 8 on this road trip even after shitting the bed in San jose and Anaheim

With Fucale now in the system the need to trade Tokes is urgent this summer. But the issue is what can you get for Tokes? Tokes just is not getting it done, although I want him to succeed. I think his value will continue to drop.

Didn't tokes win a title in world juniors like CAREY did? Of course CAREY won the Calder cup in AHL and Olympic gold as well.

Tokes won a Calder Cup also I believe. He won something in the OHL. He has won at every level but this one, to date. But if you are going to bring up Fucale through the system and youre married to CP31 in the contract. You might as well get something for Tokarski or Fucale.
I will be willing to bet that the Bruins trade Malcolm also.

Tokes wasn't bad in regulation. The pp goal wasn't his fault. He was awful in the shootout though.

My thing is get some value for him before it bottoms due to the CP31 contract. I think the longer he stays in Montreal the worse the value becomes. With the poor offense this team has and the expiring contracts it has, it can be a great time to load up for a magical run next year.
I am not discounting the run this year, but the way this team has reacted to the trades has some concern developing. Ad we all know a certain goalie from Vancouver that wears 31 struggles in May.

Offense will let us down again this year like they let the d and tokes down last year in game 6 of ECF. Word is we are not ready. I've said this before. Bergevin is looking at two more years possibly.

Tokes also did well in junior winning the Memorial cup with the Spokane Chiefs. He also won a cup in midget. Lmao.
This hab team will prolly have to lose in the stanley cup final before they win it. Maybe make it next year and lose to a west coast team then win year after? Who knows. I do know Bergevin better buy some damn offense this summer. Trade tokes and Eller and maybe others. Whatever it takes. Keep the good youngsters we need who are still developing.

It was target practice for about a whole minute at the end. I thought the Flyers would get out of it when they got a faceoff with about ten seconds left to get some fresh bodies in there. Instead the Bs scored off of it. Hopefully the Bs are tired tomorrow against the Wings.
