A. About another sports hero of my youth dying
and
B. That he played a year with the Seahawks that most probably don't remember or know happened

I know we've had this thread before, but I've been thinking about greats of the NFL and MLB and some teams that they might've finished with or started with that we forget, or have a small recollection of them playing with:
Franco Harris

Tony Dorsett

Eric Dickerson

Deion Sanders

and

Roger Craig

Jerry Rice

Steve Young

Emmitt Smith

Ken Griffey Jr

Pete Rose

John Smoltz

Damn, I have no memory whatsoever of Dickerson playing for Atl. And that's from the 93 season (you can see the SB logo in the background) so I was already watching then.
Don't remember Smoltzy as a Cardinal either, I thought he finished his career in Boston.

Damn, I thought I pretty much knew everything about who played with who in the NFL and MLB, but I didn't know Harmon Killebrew played with the Royals. Learned something today.

Joe Montana with the Chiefs is a little different. He wasn’t washed up. It was similar to Peyton Manning going to the Broncos. He was older and had missed an entire season to an injury.

Montana didn’t win a SB with the Chiefs, but he did lead them to a AFC Championship game against the Bills.
