I just saw a promo for this. I didn't realize they won a piece of the pie. I'm looking forward to some new coverage. I wish the SEC would get away from CBS.

Ah forgot it was on FX and not FOX. But it was a "FOX Sports" broadcast. FOX had the B1G championship too I think.

Yay we get to see the band members more than the actual football teams.

Ya I thought they only did bowl games. Hopefully they air good games each week to compete with CBS. I dont mind the SEC on CBS, its usually the 1 game a week(minus the Canes) that I look forward to watching.

Why would you want the sec to leave CBS? Makes no sense.

one reason would be the ESPN/ABC tie-in. A huge game on CBS is not going to get as much attention from ESPN as an ABC game.

umm...

games on ABC are regional which means a hell of a lot less exposure for the conferences that play on that channel.

on top of that, the SEC is the league with the highest ratings and will soon be in cahoots with ESPN with the SEC Network.

They aren't going to be covering the SEC any less than other conferences.

The Herbie/Brent Primetime game is national.

Isn't it?
