Here is a solution that would really bend Toto's headset:
1. Merc wins appeal, FIA says they should have proceeded under a VSC from the point of the accident to the end of the race.
2. RB wins their lap 1 appeal. Lewis given 15 second penalty.
Max was 12.1 seconds behind Lewis at the time of the accident...

Believe stewards can only give a 10 second max. Anything more has to come from FIA.

What a mess the most exciting battle in decades and the FIA have ruined it, doesn’t matter which way the decision goes they have made it all about them and not the drivers.

Nothing in the rules posted say the SC has to run a lap after allowing the lapped cars by.
